Year: 2021

An institutional building organized around a repeating structural bay, resolved through detailed construction studies — a bamboo column detail, a clad wall assembly, a post-to-floor-slab anchorage — that carry the design from concept through buildable specificity.

Massing studies worked through nine alternative configurations before settling on the final form, which opens at ground level to a shaded interior workspace and a public-facing courtyard.
